No — we don’t require a security deposit. Your AmiGo is fully insured with a CHF 500 deductible. In case of damage, charges up to that amount may be applied to your card. Traffic fines, late return fees, administrative costs, and cleaning charges are not covered by insurance and may also be charged to your card if applicable.

You can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before your pick-up time. If you cancel between 24 and 48 hours, you’ll receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before pick-up are non-refundable. See our Terms & Conditions for details.

If you cancel up to 48 hours before pick‑up, your full refund is processed immediately. For cancellations between 24–48 hours, a 50% refund is issued. Refunds may take 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

Our online booking covers up to 12 hours per day (between 08:00 and 20:00). For multi-day rentals, please contact us directly.

Pick-up and return take place either at our handover point near Interlaken West station — Kanalpromenade 1, Interlaken, paid parking (View on Google Maps) or at your hotel/Airbnb within Interlaken, Matten, or Unterseen (if you booked the CHF 20 delivery add-on). Please arrive or be ready 15 minutes before your scheduled time.

Choose any rental length from 4 to 12 hours, with start times between 08:00 and 16:00 (all rentals must end by 20:00). Be ready 15 minutes before your scheduled time — whether at our handover location or for hotel/Airbnb delivery. We are not at the handover location outside agreed hours. If you’re delayed, always let us know (number on your booking confirmation), but your return time stays fixed and late fees may apply. The Citroën Ami has a maximum battery range of up to 75 km, but we recommend keeping a safe margin — actual usage depends on your driving style, weather, and terrain. Always monitor your dashboard during the ride — it shows the current battery level and remaining range in real time. Your AmiGo may be handed over with slightly less than 100% charge due to transfer logistics (handover point or hotel/Airbnb delivery).

Yes. Charges on a normal household plug; includes an extension cord and an adapter for standard EV stations. A full charge takes ~3–4 hours. Charging costs are your responsibility.

Paid parking lots only — street parking is not allowed. Use Google Maps to find nearby lots. You can pay using apps like EasyPark, PayByPhone, or ParkingPay. If paying manually, bring Swiss franc coins only — euros are not accepted. Many lots accept both app and coin payments. Always lock both doors, close the windows, and never leave valuables inside — these are not covered by insurance.

Yes — reasonably clean: no trash, food, or excessive mud/dirt (normal dust/splashes are fine). If it needs special cleaning (e.g., sticky spills, stains, pet hair, large amounts of mud/trash), a CHF 50 cleaning fee will be charged to your card.

You must return the AmiGo with at least 5 km of battery range showing on the dashboard. If it’s under 5 km and needs towing, towing/recovery costs are your responsibility.

You’re fully responsible. Small damages (scratches, dents, mirrors) are charged up to CHF 500 (deductible); cost is based on a local repair estimate and charged to your card. Larger repairs are covered by insurance, but the CHF 500 deductible always applies. Traffic fines are not covered by insurance and will be charged to your card — even if they arrive later. Administrative costs may apply.

Key replacement & reprogramming: CHF 200 fee. If the AmiGo becomes unusable or needs towing as a result, additional charges may apply. Keep the key safe; never leave it unattended in the vehicle.

We offer a 15-minute grace period for returns. After that, a CHF 50 per hour (or part of an hour) late fee applies. Examples: 20–30 minutes late = CHF 50; 1h10 late = CHF 100. Charges are applied to your card automatically. Always let us know if you’re delayed (number on the booking confirmation) — it won’t remove the fee, but helps us coordinate logistics.
